About CredenzArt
"Art is how I translate what time remembers"
My name is Helga, and Im a founder of CredenzArt Studio* — a place where art lingers between memory and matter.
I have always felt that beauty lives in the quiet details: the worn edge of a book, the imperfect brushstroke, the warmth of a fabric that remembers touch. And that beauty should not only be seen, but felt — in the weight of fabric, in the quiet hum of wood grain, in the breath of color that turns a room into a memory. For me, art is not a concept — it’s a way of being with the world, slowly, attentively, and with reverence.
I believe in creating objects that breathe, that grow old beautifully, and that turn everyday life into something sacred. I work slowly, intuitively, allowing texture and imperfection to speak. My process is rooted in nostalgia for what was once made to last, and in a longing to bring soul back into the spaces we live in. Objects with soul: they dont fill spaces, they awaken senses.
CredenzArt is my way of blending art and life — creating objects that don’t just decorate, but accompany you from within — to make art you can wear, and art that feels like home.
*The name CredenzArt comes from the word "credenza" — once the small side-table used in medieval times to test food for poison, a quiet ritual of trust. It later came to mean "belief" or "faith".
That gesture — of offering, trusting, and transforming the ordinary into something sacred — became the heart of my work. CredenzArt is, for me, a studio of trust, beauty, and belonging.
